Surrey County FA

On Thursday 19th and 26th November 2009 the Woodcote SSP organised a football festival for boys and girls in year 4. Following the success of this event the Surrey FA and Woodcote SSP are keen for children in the borough to have the opportunity to join a grass roots football club.

Specific boys and girl’s festival have been organised with local Charter Standard (FA Kite mark) football clubs to give children the opportunity to take part in a fun world Cup theme festival. The local football club will then offer the children the opportunity to continue playing football at the club with weekly coaching session to form a new team.

The festival is open to players of all abilities in school year 4 and specifically we would really like this opportunity to be promoted to children who do not currently play for a grass roots football clubs.
