Primary Sports Hall Athletics

On the 10^th February we held a Primary Sport hall Athletics festival at Coulsdon Sixth Form College in their sportshall.

Some of the events that took place were Obstacle relays, running relays, over/under relay, soft javelin. We had 7 local primary schools take part with 12 pupils form each school (6 girls, 6 boys). The schools that took part were Chipstead Valley, Wattenden, Fairchildes, Rowdown, Woodcote, Byron and Keston. Coulsdon College provided 20 young Leaders who were fantastic. Some of the teachers made some really good comments about how the Coulsdon students preformed on the day and the enthusiasm was passed on to the primary children.

The eventual winners were Chipstead Valley who will represent Woodcote Sports Partnership in April at Crystal Palace sports Arena.
